Why? Great question! As photographers ourselves, we found it difficult to privately sell our gear when it came time to upgrade. Sure, you could head over to FB Marketplace, Gumtree, even eBay, but the sheer amount of time-wasters and scammers was overwhelming. 

Like seriously, why ask "Is it still available?", only to never respond again when you say "yes"!

So we created cameratrade.com.au, where every single account must use two-factor authentication, and buyers and sellers are rated by those they transact with. Over time, both buyers and sellers work hard to protect their rating. And when it goes wrong, we're here to intervene and guide a mutually agreeable resolution.
